  Sales Development Manager - Construction Chemicals – is responsible for providing customer information for the development of new chemical products / applications to meet customer’s performance criteria, market research and development to meet current needs or future market needs. Also required is technical field support to increase the customer base in the asphalt emulsion / hot mix and concrete additives business areas.  This position will require sales focus to meet the objectives identified by the Business Manager .  The incumbent will use standard test methods, such as ASTM, AASHTO and ISSA methods, to evaluate the performance of cationic, non-ionic, and anionic asphalt emulsifiers and hot mix additives.  Equivalent testing for concrete additives is included.  Asphalt emulsions are prepared and evaluated for emulsion properties as well as end-use properties of the emulsion/aggregate mix. Bachelor degree in a technical degree preferred with a minimum of five (5) year technical experience in asphalt/asphalt emulsions and/or product development in order to interface with industry in terms of products/applications.

Chemical Operator – works a 12 hour rotating shift. Must be able to
demonstrate an understanding of heating and cooling systems including
their piping and valve sequences in operations. Requires a basic knowledge
and understanding of various chemicals including acids, bases, and various
organic chemicals. A minimum of one-year chemical plant experience using
pressurized systems is preferred. Forklift experience required.
